Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard
Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard is an American/Hispanic emcee, ghostwriter, and producer born in Harlem, New York; moving to The Bronx, New York, he earned his stripes as an emcee and became known for his punchline style of lyricism. A huge mixtape buzz earned him a deal with Giant/ Warner Bros. That venture produced the classic underground album: "GIVE EM THE FINGER" and its widely respected single: "Checkin Out the Avenue."
According to Forbes Magazine, he has written for many recording artists, including the likes of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rakim. Pudgee has worked on projects with Missy Elliott, Digable Planets, M.O.P., and countless others. His original song "Think Big" has been called a classic by The Source magazine. It featured the Notorious B.I.G.
Pudgee's close friendships with 2pac and Biggie and songs with D.M.X. continue to further add to his iconic history.
Pyrex Plat
Born in Yonkers, New York in August of 1986, Darnelle Logan aka “Pyrex Plat”, was most certainly guaranteed an uphill battle. His mother developed a drug addiction that left her unable to care for her young son. Although his father was involved, he would eventually leave young Darnelle’s life at the tender age of 4 years old.
Sweet Tee
Queens, NY rapper Sweet Tee (born Toi Jackson), is truly one of the pioneer female emcee’s in the hip-hop community. Her first recording was “One for the Treble ” with known D.J./Producer “Davy DMX”. It wasn’t long after Sweet Tee met producer Herby “Luv Bug” Azor, who is also credited for producing Salt N Pepa, Kid’ N Play, Dana Dane and Kwame. She joined the Idol Makers camp and recorded her first solo song “It’s My Beat”, which landed her a deal with Profile records. She then released a double sided single “I Got the Feeling”& “It’s Like That Y’all”; followed by the release of her album “It’s Tee Time,” dropping the first two singles “On the Smooth Tip” and “Why Did It Have to Be Me” featuring Charisse Rose from the group “Changing Faces.”
